Wales Gas-to-Energy Project

The Wales Gas-to-Energy Project is central to strengthening Guyana's energy future. PACRIM and consortium partners are delivering the onshore build at the Wales site on the west bank of the Demerara River. The project is now advancing into its mechanical installation phase, coordinating equipment from more than 20 countries across a rapidly scaling on-site workforce.

Local Workforce at Scale

The project has grown to more than 870 workers on site, integrating Guyanese labor with international expertise across construction, equipment, and facility-management disciplines — a continuation of the local-talent commitment first established on the Guyanese Offshore Supply Base.

Delivering a nationally strategic energy facility on a tight schedule while coordinating logistics for equipment arriving from more than 20 countries. The Wales site, adjacent to the Demerara River, requires careful marine access, mangrove-bordered ground preparation, and continuous coordination with the Government of Guyana and project partners.
